Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) announced that Gavin Snyder, Founder and CEO of Imagine Aerial was selected to provide UAS Piloting to the PrecisionHawk and PG&E drone teams for the 2019 California Wildfire Response Inspections. The mobilization is in response to State and Federal court mandates after the devastating 2018-19 California wildfires. The response will be the largest mobilization in the world to date for UAS (drones) involving over 150 UAS pilots and 150 Senso's (camera operators) along with dozens of PG&E and contract data analysts. Teams will inspect Energy Infrastructure state-wide after courts mandated comprehensive inspections after the California Camp fire which spread rapidly, trapping and causing the deaths of 86 residents.
